Hill AFB is a very large base, with many different organizations, all performing vital Air Force missions. This base is not ours it belongs to the taxpayers of this country. How do we meet the requirements so we will get our step increase? What's it all about? . Within-grad- e increase (step raises) should be to all employees due an increase and who given receive a JPAS rating of fully successful or higher. The JPAS work plan, which consists of job elements and performance standards, should be reviewed with the employee, and the employee should sign it at the beginning of each rating period. The JPAS rating should be given each employee based in the following: a. If an employee exceeds all requirements of the JPAS work plans, heshe should receive a superior rating. There is a provision in paragraphs C4602 through C4608 of the JTR wherein a traveler may apply for actual expense reimbursement when circumstances such as you encountered are present in connection with a TDY assignment. I know we have a Rod and Gun Club, but all I ever read about in the Hill Top Times is trap and skeet shooting. Why isn't there a rifle and pistol range? The Hill Rod and Gun Club had access to the outdoor rifle and pistol range several years back, but it was closed because it was not safe. The range has now been refurbished and is under the jurisdiction of 2849 ABGOTA. The Hill Rod and Gun Club cannot use the range until they get a waiver to allow National Rifle Association rated club members to monitor range utilization. When the waiver is approved, the club will have an active rifle and pistol program. thoroughly investigated.
