Notice is hereby given that the Board of Oil, Gas and Mining, will conduct a hearing on Thursday, April 11, 1965 at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room of the Division of Oil, Gas and Mining, 355 West North Temple, 3 Triad Center, Suite 301, Salt Lake City, Utah. The hearing will continue to Friday, April 12, 1985, if necessary. The purpose of the pro- ceeding will be to receive evidence and testimony as to whether the Board should promulgate an 0rderto: 1. Modify under Sec- ion 40-6-6(4) Utah Code Annotated, 1953, the drill ing and spacing Orders for the Green RiverWasatch Transi- tion Zone heretofore entered by this Board in Causes No. 139-1, 139-3, 139-8 and 139-17 (Alta-mont (Alta-mont Field), Causes No. 131-14, 131-24, 131-27, 131-32, 131-33, 131-34, 131-45 and 131-55 (Bluebell Field), and Causes No. 140-1, 140-6 and 140-7 (Cedar Rim-Sink Rim-Sink Draw Field) as to the following described lands: UINTAH SPECIAL MERIDIAN Township 1 North, Range 1 West Sections 13-36; Township 1 North, Range 2 West Sections 19 36; Township 1 North, Range 3 West Sections 23-26, 33 end 38; Township 1 South. As an alternative, modify the size of existing ex-isting drilling units which presently cover the subject sub-ject lands. . 5. Authorize that the second well is to be located at least 1,320 feet from the existing well in the same unit, and not closer than 660 feet from the unit boundary. 6. Designate existing or permitted second test wells within the lands described above as the second well for such units and permit each such second well to produce pro-duce simultaneously with the original unit well. The Board has entered an Order dated March 4, 1985, pursuant to Rule 6(g) of its Rules of Procedure Pro-cedure setting a schedule for the filing of responses, motions, and exhibits, and specifying the manner in which other parties may enter an appearance and participate par-ticipate in the hearing of this Cause. Persons interested in this matter may participate par-ticipate pursuant to the Procedural Rules of the Board. The Board, having reviewed the motions and having heard the arguments of Respondents and Petitioner, Peti-tioner, makes and enters the following: FINDINGS OF FACT AND CONCLUSIONS OF LAW : 1. The hearing in this matter was originally scheduled for March 14 and 15, 1985. Notice was sent on February 22, 1985 to all parties listed in this matter by certified mail-return mail-return receipt requested. All of the respondents argued that they did not have adequate time ; before the scheduled hearing to review . geologic and scientific data such that they could protect their respective interests. We are not persuaded per-suaded that notice was sufficient in this matter and further we find that no prejudice will inure to the Petitioner if the Respondents are allowed additional time in which to evaluate the Petition. 2. The Board concludes that for good cause shown the motion for continuance will be granted as set forth below. 3. The Board concludes that because of the special nature of this matter a schedule should be established setting forth filing dates for notice and pleadings pursuant pur-suant to Rule 6(g) of the Board's Procedural Rules (adopted ' February 23, 1984). a j.r. While there they attended a world wide dry cleaning clean-ing seminar. DeeAnn Osborne was also there for a Forest Service workshop and joined the group for a tour of the area. They all returned home Saturday night. Mrs. Merrell Morrell of Price spent last weekend here with the daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Kent Bentley . Gary and JaNeal Warren made a business trip to Las Vegas, Nev., recently. Kimberlie Hamilton, daughter of DeeAnn Osborne of Rangely, and granddaughter of Lulu Stewart has been selected to be in the National Honor Society. Kimberlie is a sophomore at Rangely High School and a member of the school's basketball basket-ball team. They are former Naples residents. Going to the volleyball tournament held this last weekend in Moab were Batty Merrell, Doris Salazar, Debbie Foster and Lynette Merrell. While there Mrs. Foster had the misfortune of injuring her knee while playing ball. Donald (Doc) Bascom is a patient at the Ashley Valley Medical Center at this writing. Mark Alan Richardson, son of Terry Richardson and grandson of Lulu Stewart has received three nominations nomina-tions to the Navel Academy in Indianapolis. In-dianapolis. Senator Gam, Senator Hatch, and Representative Hansen have recommended him. Those chosen for appointment will be notified by April 15. Spending the weekend here with their parents, Norman and Jan Haslcm were Ken and Caryl Ann Scastrand and little son, Bryan. They returned to their home in Provo, Monday.
