Show ! Carl Evan W Moss BOUNTIFUL-Carl Evan "Bill" Moss, age 83, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 1990 in a local care center following a lingering illness. Born March 4, 1907 in South Bountiful, the son of Stephen and Martha Arvena Jones Moss. He married Jetta Holbrook Sept. 20, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Tem-ple. He was active in the LDS church, the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce; past president of Oakridge Country Club, and a former member of the Bountiful Rotary Club. Survivors include: his wife of Bountiful: three daughters, Mrs. Fred (Jeanene) Stringham of Bountiful; Mrs. Boyd (Louise) Rohwer of Bountiful; Boun-tiful; Mrs. Don (Mary Ann) Wortley, also Bountiful; 15 grandchildren; 19 great -grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Aaron Moss of Provo and DeVan Moss, Bountiful. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence Moss and La Veil Moss and a sister Louise Moss. Funeral services were held Nov. 16, in the Bountiful Eighth LDS Ward Funeral directors, Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery. where he was a former bishop ot the Bountiful Eighth Ward, a high councilor coun-cilor and executive secretary in the Bountiful South Stake. He was on the Bountiful City Council for two terms; had served nine years as a Davis County Commissioner, Com-missioner, was a former member of |
