Show Fricke receives lShore Your Life ' award a great compliment when she said, "I a ways enjoy his sermons' and "he never has to reach down in the barrel." (Translation: he doesn't replay re-play old sermons.) "We recognize your many hours of devoted service beyond your regular duties in your church, including in-cluding your daily work and attention atten-tion to completion of the new school rooms," Kiwanian Dale Roe said as he presented the certificate November's "Share Your Life" certificate was given to Carl Fricke, pastor of the Bountiful Christian Church, during the Tuesday meeting of the' Kiwanis Club of Bountiful. Also honored was Barbara Bar-bara Fricke, whose wifely support helped him accomplish "much good" in church, schools and community. Barbara Fricke paid her husband and letter of appreciation. Carl also serves as executive director of the Utah Evangelistic Association. Also recognized were community communi-ty activities spread over several states: California, Washington, Oregon and Utah, and including service on boards of directors for United Way and the American Red Cross. He has been serving with the committee to develop school programs pro-grams in Davis County to provide sex education. Carl was recently given an honorary Kiwanis membership in view of his 34 years of service, which included Lt. Governor in three districts: Califomia-Nevada-Hawaii, Northwest and Utah-Idaho; and president of two clubs, including in-cluding Bountiful. Nominations for the "Share Your Life" recognition can be sent to Kiwanis Club of Bountiful, Box 9, Bountiful, Utah 84010. A statement state-ment of the reasons for the name (or names) being submitted should include in-clude the name, address and phone number of the person submitting the nominee. One of the 1991 recipients reci-pients will be selected to receive a plaque as the awardee of the year, at the end of 1991.
