Show Parking rules change CENTERVILLEThe city police department would like to remind all citizens that the overnight parking ordinance went into effect on Nov. 15. Beginning that day, and continuing continu-ing through April 15, 1991, no vehicles will be allowed on any street within the city for more than one hour between the hours of 12 midnight and 6 a.m. The only exceptions to the ordinance or-dinance will be for emergency vehicles while the driver is on duty, or physicians during emergency calls. The city ordinance also prohibits any trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,000 pounds or more, hauling trailers, boats, motor homes, buses or camping vehicles to be parked on any Centerville street for a period of more than 24 consecutive hours at any time of year. Cooperation of all residents will allow the police department to maintain safety during winter weather. Violators will be cited for failure to observe the ordinance. |
