Show Polka awareness week at WXHS Leslie Price, a quad trio by Karin Dewey, Sara Dowdle, Tammy Anderson, Gina Allgier, Sonia Smith, Kelly Percifield, Jenny Galbraith, Becky Reese, Ellen Walton, Heather Child, Brandy Bo st and Margarita Maybee and a quartet by Ryan Kunz, Dave Moody, Jason Smith and Ben Thompson. The following entries also received superiors and qualified for state: vocal solos Jason Smith, Ben Elmer, Julie Fox and Nanette Clark. PianoLaura Neal and Laura Whitchurch. Whit-church. Ensembles a duet by Tammy Anderson and Jason Smith; a trio by Maggie Allen, Andrea Wilcox and Tammy Anderson; the ladies' ensemble from the Madrigals; the men's ensemble from the Madrigals; and the Madrigals. Special notice needs to be given for the I plus ratings (the best possible possi-ble rating) for Jason Smith, Laura Neal, Laura Whitchurch and an unprecedented un-precedented I plus from both judges to the Madrigals. Way to go choral department! The Wildcat of the Week is Aaron Hendrick, Aaron likes to listen to music and does it often in his spare time. The sports he likes are wrestling and tennis. Aaron lived liv-ed in Turkey for several years but moved back for his senior year. A goal he has is to get into a military academy to pursue a career. ca-reer.
