Show "BLACK ROCK By MRS. BENITI BURKE Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Allsop and son Kent of Bingham Canyon Can-yon have returned to their home after spending- several d;iys with the Merrill MiUcrs. The Hampton Burkes, Merrill Millers and Mr. William Miller attended funeral services at the Milford Methodist church Mon day for Judge E. W. Clay. Later they accompanied Hie family to 'larr'son, vjiore craveside services serv-ices were held. In the late afternoon aft-ernoon a delicious lunch was served in the Lee Dcardcn home by Mrs. Lee Dearden and Mrs. Vivian Dearden, to all who drove from Milford and Black Rock. Before returning home Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Miller ' and William Miller visited with friends in Baker, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Barton and J small son of Manti were recent visitors at the Black Rock Ranch. Lee drove here to get the last of his sheep started for the summer ranges. Mr. William Miller of Ingle-wood, Ingle-wood, Cal., is visiting with his son, Merrill Miller. Mrs. David Stewart is home after having spent several days in the Cedar City Hospital. Emma Lu Caiter of Milford has been staying with Mrs. Stewart for a few days. I Mr. and Mrs. Waite Wilcox and Mrs. Vola French of Denver Den-ver made a brief visit with the Charles Flemings. Walter Mil'er is the proud owner of a recently purchased Pontiac Catalina. While en route to their homes in Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Bur-j Bur-j ton Clay and -their niece, Mrs. Robert Mount, stopped at the Black Rock Ranch and were dinner guests at the Hampton Burkes. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Miller and William Miller were also guests at the dinner. |
