Show UTAH ROOD RELIEF DONATIONS ASKED , Contributions for flood relief in the devastated areas of Utah may be made at the Milford City j Office, Mayor J. D. Kirk an- I nounced today. i"The necessity for financial assistance as-sistance for the Northern Utah.. , flood areas is great," Mayor Kirk said, "and Gov. Lee and other officials have cal'ed upon the j people of the state to assist, ( so i far as their means will permit, thfr." f'o"d victims. Checks for contributions to this urgent need may be mailed to Vernon Burns, city recorder, or handed to h;m at the city office." Gov. Lee tlrs week issued the following statement: "The Utah F'ood Relief Com-"""toe Com-"""toe i"fis established to coop- . erate with and supplement existing exist-ing agencies in providing funds for the relief of flood victims I The committee and its staff are , i composed entirely of volunteers and any and all funds it receives ( wil' be allocated for flood relief, j "I cannot praise too highly the I work that has thus far been ; done by the L D S Church, the '. Red Cross, and by other groups and individuals who have de- ; voted themselves untiringly and unselfishly in meeting the flood . problem.
