Show SELECTIONS MADE FOR YEARBOOK CARNIVAL KING, QUEEN, PRINCE A ND PRINCESS ' Contestants vying for this year's Year Book' Carnival King and Queen were chosen during the week of Oct. 15. -They are: Seniors, Ray Mclntyre and Jeanette Stoker: Stok-er: Juniors, LcRoy Griffiths and Lois Jean Fowles; Sophomores, Gary Anderson and Mary Jane McCulley; Freshmen, Ruth Cline and Von McDonald. The prince and princess of the ball will be chosen from the Seventh Sev-enth and Eighth grades, with the Eighth grade entries being Billy Griffiths and Dorothy Blake, and for the Seventh grade, Douglas Memmott and Lynette Bracken. Only the upper four grades can enter candidates for the king and queen but because the Seventh and Eighth grades are as much of the school as the older grades a plan was devised so that a prince anf princess could also share the spot light. - The winners will be chosen bj pairs, with the most popular gracX. taking it. Votes are a penny each and can be dropped in the coin collectors placed downtown with the name and picture of the contestant on the bottle. The money from this will be turned over to the yearbook staff for a better yearbook. |
