Show i HORACE HIEDT OFFERS CASH AND FAME FOR SOUTH UTAH TALENT I from the Horace Heidt "Youth Opportunity Program" will be I in Cedar City on Sunday and I Monday, Oct. 28 and 29, to hold auditions for all professional and amateur talent in this area. The Cedar City Kiwanis Club is sponsoring the appearance of the Horace Heidt show on Tuesday. Tues-day. Nov. 20, in the Branch Agricultural Ag-ricultural College fieldhouse, which is expected to seat over 2!j00 persons. Heidt will bring the 1952 edition of his Parade of Stars, including a cast of 50 and the Horace Heildt Musical Knights. I All professional and amateur talent over 14 years of age from Southern Utah and Eastern East-ern Nevada is cordially invited to try out for a spot on the show, Group acts are limited to four. All those wishing an audition must bring their own music and accompanist. Three acts will be chosen from auditions to appear with the show and will be competing compet-ing for cash prizes and a chance to go on with the troupe and appear on the weekly radio or television show and to compete with the present champions. Auditions will be held at Radio Station KSUB studios, starting at 7:30 each night. No formal application is necessary to appear for the auditions . Tickets went on sale Wednesday Wed-nesday in Cedar City, and an announcement will be made in surrounding communities of the date of arrival of a traveling ticket wagon. From now until the time of the ,how, a ticket j booth willbe open in the lobby of the Southern Utah Power Co. offices each afternoon. Ticket ordeis will also be filled by mail. I |
