Show ! P.-T. A, HAS JOINT MEETING I I Feeling that the problems of 1 : high school and elementary i school students differ, it has I been decided to hold separate 1 P.-T. A. meetings this year, in I order to better meet the needs of each school. Two sets of officers, of-ficers, one for each association, have therefore been selected. These officers, as well as the school teachers for this year, were introduced at a P.-T. A. meeting on Oct. 22. Inasmuch as this was the first meeting of the season and was also the opening social, both : groups met together, but will j meet separately hereafter. I The officers of the Element- ary P.-T. A. are: Phyllis Whrit-taker, Whrit-taker, president; Bernice Smith, i first vice president; Ira M. Fisher, second vice president, , I and Faye Berger, secretary. -j Loretta Cline is president of , ' the High School association, wit hKenneth Archer, first vice president; Max Abbott, second vice president, and Barbara McGinn, Mc-Ginn, .secretary. Mr. Fisher and Mr. Abbott introduced their respective faculties. A patriotic program was presented pre-sented consisting of the follow-; ing numbers: Vocal solo, "My I Own America," Bonnie Munk, accompanied by Aaron Hanson; : showing of a film, "America the Beautiful"; talk about our American Heritage by Mr. Calvin Cal-vin Bartholomew. |
