Show ONLY ONE TICKET FILED FOR CITY ELECTION ! Milford's voters will have little lit-tle choice in naming city coun-cilmen coun-cilmen to direct the affairs of the community for the next four years when they mark their ballots on Nov. 6th. Only one slate of candidates, the "Citizens "Citi-zens Ticket," filed for office before the Oct. 22 deadline. Three councilmen and a city treasurer will be elected to serve for four years. Council-men Council-men to be replaced are Claude Horton, resigned; I. Altman and Gene Mayer. Joe C. Smith, incumbent in-cumbent city treasurer, is again a candidate on the Citizens ticket. tick-et. For councilmen, I. Altman is a candidate to succeed himself, and Russell Mayer and Arland S. Whittaker have filed for the posts to be vacated by Gene Mayer and Claude Horton. Warren Johnson and Roy Myers are holdover councilmen along with Mayor J. D. Kirk, i all of whom will remain in of-1 fice until 1953. I ' I |
