Show M. H. S. Senior Band to Present Concert The Senior Band and Chorus will present a concert Thursday, Nov. 1, at 8 p. m. in the High School Auditorium, sponsored by the Band an.d the Journalism Class. The Journalism students are sell- ing the tickets at 50c each. Sousa, Holms, King and others wrote the marches, overtures, . hymns and features to be presented. present-ed. They are working every day on the selected numbers in class. Nancy Hillman will read the famous "Bedtime Story" the band has for its feature. The chorus will sing "Stout - Hearted Men, "O Lord Most Holy," "Serenade," and will feature solo-. solo-. ist Bonnie Munk singing "Star . .. Dust." All money received from this : enterprise will be evenly divided between the music ana journalism departments. The music department depart-ment will then save their money toward the purchase of band suits, and the journalism's share will go to the printing of the Hill-Top Echo. |
