Show UTAH ART EXHIBIT SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY AT SCHOOL Milford'3 first Centennial feature, fea-ture, a $7500 art exhibit featuring Utah artists, will come to our city on Monday, March 24, remaining on exhibition in the "Old Gym" at ; the school grounds for three days. Admission to the exhibit is free to the public. The paintings are for sale, but no deliveries will be made until after completion of the tour. Cost of exhibiting the paintings is borne by the Utah Centennial Commission, Com-mission, with the local committee paying only actual transportation of the art works to Milford. Kitty pictures make up tne two units to be displayed here. A great many of the paintings are on Utah subjects, but several have a wide scope of subject. The pictures not depicting Utah scenes range from Howell Rosenbaum's "Guadalcanal Surf" to Mabel Eraser's "Loggia in Florence." The groups to be shown here include in-clude William J. Parkinson's "Portrait "Por-trait of an Experiment," Lee Green Richards' ""A Grandson of Utah Pioneers," La Vonne Vincent's "Temple Square," and Gertrude Teutsch's "Wild West,' as well as many others by popular Utah artiists. Opening of the exhibit coincides with "Parents' Day" at the Milford schools. A Parent-Teacher function, func-tion, all parents of Milford school children are urged to "go to school" next Monday, and obtain first-hand information as to how their children's education is being conducted. An interesting schedule has been worked out for visiting parents, with members of the P.-T. A. on hand to assist the visitors and answer an-swer any questions they may have.
