Show Reception honors Mr. and Mrs. Alan B. Taylor A lovely reception of the summer season was that honoring hon-oring newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Alan B. Taylor, who were married mar-ried June 27, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She is the former Cheryl Carter, daughter of Margaret Carter of Springville and the late Kenneth L. Carter. His parents are Mr. and Mr.--. L. Burt Taylor also of this city. The reception was held at the art gallery the evening of the marriage and was preceded by a luncheon hosted by the parents of the groom at Log Haven, Salt Lake City, for family members and close friends. Prenuptial parties were also given by Mary Stewart and Pam Nau. For the reception, the bride wore a gown of white shimmering shim-mering mystique with fitted waistline, cowl neck and wrist-length, wrist-length, full-cuffed sleeves, trimmed trim-med with irridescents. A rhine-stone rhine-stone buckle held the wide belt. Her veil was floor-length of double layered bridal illusion, arranged to a ribbon headpiece. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and purple and blue salvis embedded in baby breath. Her attendants were Sandy Swenson, Mary Carter, Mary Stewart. Gay Back, Jeanne Liddiard and Laura Carter. Julie Ju-lie Carter was junior bridesmaids. brides-maids. Flower girls were Lisa Clyde, Lorri Clyde and Michelle Wright. They were in light blue street-length dresses with hot pink, blue and purple blooms and baby breath bouquets. Best men to the groom were Craig Taylor and Les Stewart. The bride's brother, Ronald Carter, stood with her mother. Mrs. Carter chose a pink voile and Mrs. Taylor pink chiffon for the wedding, accented accen-ted with white carnation corsages. cor-sages. Greeting guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wright and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clyde. The ushers were Milton Carter and Steve Bird. At the guest register were Lorna Taylor and Pam Nau. Eunice Richardson, Carol Back and Mildred Whipple were in the gift room. Gift bearers were Clyde and Creed Wright, Chad Weight, Jefferson and Brian Carter. Serving were Laura Allred, Annette Chipman, Brenda Wilson, Wil-son, Julie Warner. Valerie Bowles, Elaine Syme, Stephanie Roylance. The wedding cake, 3-layered, was pale pink with white crisscrosses criss-crosses around the sides trimmed trim-med with bachelor buttons and white mums.
