Miss Rosie Ferran and Miss Carolyn Meagher returned recently re-cently from Las Vegas, where they spent a few days vacation and visited with Rosie's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ferran. The two Ferran children, Todd and Milessa, returned re-turned with them to visit with grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe I. Ferran and Mr. and Mrs. LuDean Litster. Mr. and Mrs. Rolan Senior and daughter, Kami, have moved mov-ed to St. George to make their heme. Rolan will be employed with the State Highway Patrol. They have been living in Cedar City attending CSU for the past year. Linda and her daughter spent the past weekend at the home of her parents in Burley, Idaho. A sister, Caleen returned with her for a vacation in St. George. Rolan is presently spending a four-week training period at the police academy at Weber State College. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Cran- mer have enjoyed a visit the past two weeks from their son, Jay and wife and three children who came from Thousand Oaks, California. They returned home Friday. During their stay, the Cranmers entertained at a patio pa-tio party with other guests including in-cluding Mr. and Mrs. Owen Cranmer, Mi. and Mrs. Fred Cranmer and family of Salt Lake City. The family also enjoyed en-joyed a wiener roast in the canyon and a trip to Hogle Zoo. Hazel Smith visited in Springville last week from Santa San-ta Barbara, California. She was the guest of Martha Whiting Whi-ting at Mapleton and visited other relatives and friends in Springville and also enjoyed a tour of the art museum. She spent most of the time with her sister and husband, Howard and Maude Holliday at Santa-quin. Santa-quin. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Alleman of Granada Hlils, California, are spending a few days this week with relatives and friends in Springville, being guests of his mother, Mrs. Nell Alleman early this week. Another son, Dan Alleman of Spanish Fork just released from the Veterans Hospital, where he has spent three weeks with a heart condition, con-dition, enjoyed visiting his bro-therr bro-therr and wife here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Brinkerhoff and family were in Orderville, Monday for funeral services of her brother, Robert Chamberlain, Chamber-lain, 58, who died July 16, of a heart attack. |
