Show Art museum receives $500 national grant As a part of the national grant given to various institutions in-stitutions in the state, the Springville Museum of Art received a $500 check from the Utah State Institute of Slil Fine Arts. The check, along with an earlier appropriation appropria-tion of five hundred dollarfj. was used in the support of the February All Utah Art Exhibit, and the April National Na-tional Art Exhibit. Directoi Bruce Braith-waite Braith-waite expressed his appreciation appreci-ation for these funds froni the State Institute, and commented on the fine relationship rela-tionship between the local art association and the state group. Budgets requesting funds from the national grant for the year 1970 have already been filed and through these funds the museum is guar-anteer guar-anteer another year of successful suc-cessful exhibitions. Offices for the Utah State Institute of Fine Arts are located in a newly decorated dec-orated carriage house just behind the Utah State Historical His-torical Society at 609 East South Temple Street in Salt Lake City. In the nev headquarters head-quarters of the Institute are offices for Wilburn West and staff plus a spacious board room and a gallery for the exhibition of state art shows.
