Show Raymon D. Hales loses life in Vietnam action He is survived by his wife and parents and by three brothers bro-thers and a sister, Blain D. Hales, Mapleton; Parley Boyd Hales. Palatine, 111.; Merrill M. Hales. Mapleton and Mrs. Gene i Doris) Rose, West Jordan. Raymon's wife has been residing re-siding in Provo since he left for Vietnam. Funeral services will be announced an-nounced at a later date following follow-ing the return of the body. Sp.-4 Raymon Hales, 27. was killed in South Vietnam, July 19, 1969. according to word received re-ceived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reid M. Hales of Mapleton. Maple-ton. Raymon was a member of a K-9 scouting outfit and lost his life in the north section of South Vietnam near the famed "Hamburger" hill region. Raymon Draper Hales is the son of Reid M. and Zora Draper Dra-per Hales. He was born Feb. 13. 1942. He is a graduate of the Springville High School and Brigham Young University. He married Eunice Larsen of Emell. Idaho, last December, and left for Vietnam June 3 of this year. He served an LDS mission in Great Britian in the Central British Mission. Kaymon Hairs |
