Gessel, 25, son of Mr .and Mrs. Brandt S. Gessel, 500 E. Seventh South, Logan, whose wife, Dianna lives at Mapleton, was assigned to the 1st Infantry Division near Di An, Vietnam, March 19. Gessel, a radio relay and carrier attendant in Company B of the division's 121st Signal Battalion, entered the Army in August 1967 and completed basic ba-sic training at Ft. Lewis, Wash. He was last stationed at Ft. Gordon, Ga. The private is a 1960 graduate grad-uate of South Cache High School at Hyrum, and he received re-ceived his B.S. degree in 1967 from Utah State University at Logan. He is a member of Delta Phi Kappa fraternity. Before entering the Army Gessel Ges-sel was employed by Gessel Electric, Logan. |
