Show Ar$ drive Saturday To help finance the huge Springville art project and to enlist the interest of all citizens, a concerted drive to secure memberships will be launched Saturday, April 20. The city has been divided into two major districts comprising Springville and Kolob Stakes with Margaret Conover and Mamie Hjorth as co-chairmen. The stake areas are divided into ward areas and a chairman has been named for each. These women will in turn secure workers to assist them in making a house to house canvass of every home in each ward. They will meet at the Community Service Center for instructions at 9 a.m. Saturday and procede on the drive. Chairmen named Nomed as ward chairmen in Springville Stake area, are: Joy Wimmer, Janet G. Packard, Thirteenth Ward; Amy Klauck, Third Ward; Cecil Robertson , Lucille Turner, Fourth Ward; Marilyn Mar-ilyn Robertson, Janet Parker, Par-ker, Fifth Ward; Gloria Murdock, Collette Binks, Seventh Ward; Blanch Ost-lund, Ost-lund, Eighth Ward; Catherine Cather-ine Wills, Ninth and Afton Palfreyman, Tenth Ward. In Kolobb Stake: Karen Thorn is First Ward chairman; chair-man; Mildred Graham, Second; Sec-ond; Jackie Johnson and Lorraine Davies, Sixth; Evelyn Eve-lyn Robbins, Eleventh and Helen Bird, Twelfth. After the canvass, the workers will gather at the Community Service Center, (old library) to make their reports and refreshments will be served, courtesy Jack Allen. |
