Show Public invited to annual Strawberry Days The welcome mat will be out in Pleasant Grove June 15, 16, 17 by Mayor Paul T. Fordham to the general public to attend the 1967 three-day Strawberry Days celebration. Three mam- mom parao.es, two un iuuia-day, iuuia-day, June 15 will begin at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. There will be stirring bands, artistic floats and precision marching units. Features of the parades and riding special floats will be the 1967 Strawberry Straw-berry Queen, LaDawna Hiatt, and Lou Dean Tomlinson as "Miss Pleasant Grove." Attendants Attend-ants to the queen will be Ros-alyn Ros-alyn Reese and Sheryl Smith. Attending Miss Pleasant Grove will be Kathy Lee and LaRaine Cobbley. Saturday's parade with a western flair, will begin at 6 p.m. led by the Rodeo Queen and followed by bands and equestrian units from localities throughout Utah. Other than the parades, entertainment en-tertainment will include Monte Young's Rides and Shows and three thrill-packed 8 p.m. do-deos. do-deos. Rodeo producer will be Swanee Kirby, with Jack Oak-ie Oak-ie as announcer. As a special for "Kidies Only" Captain Scotty television celebrity, will be on hand from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at City Park on Friday. And no day is complete without with-out a visit to the "Strawberry berries will be available with plenty of Utah sugar and cream. The annual Spring Flower Show will be open at 12 noon in the junior high school gymnasium. gym-nasium. The Flower Show is sponsored by the local garden club, Mrs. John Thornton, chairman.
