Show Daylight time changes NCAA schedule A new federal law establishing establish-ing daylight saving's time in most states has resulted in a change in the starting times for the NCCA track and field championships at the Brigham Young University on June 15, 16 and 17. Floyd Millet, chairman of the national meet to be staged in BYU stadium, said that the new regulation necessitated the change in schedule all three nights. Utah, like most other states, is now observing daylight savings sav-ings time. Consequently, we have changed the starting time to 7 p.m. it was stated. More than 500 track and field stars from 150 major schools in the nation are expected ex-pected to participate in the three-day NCAA championships in Provo. |
