Show Mayor receives UV1DA award af installation Mayor Calvin Packard was one of the eleven recipients of the first annual "Itchy" awards presented Wednesday night at UVIDA's first annual installation installa-tion banquet. The "Itchy" is a statuette of a blacksmith working with a hammer at an anvil. This symbol sym-bol was chosen because of its unique tie with the beginning of industry. The style and medium med-ium of the sculpture is -intended to capture the down-to-earth qualities of the "Smith" who contributed so much to the economic well-being of the community dependent on his services.
