Show Former resident dies of heart attack in Orem Requiem Mass was recited Monday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Provo, with Father An-gelo An-gelo Cardosa officiating, for Elias N. Farran, 51, brother of Isauro (Joe) Farran of this city and a former resident of Springville, who died of a heart attack at his home in Orem, Thursday, October 13, 1966. Rosary was Sunday afternoon at Berg Mortuary in Orem. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Farran was born Sept. 28, 1915, in Lumberton, N. M., a son of W. J. and Rosura Garcia Gar-cia Ferran. He was married to Theodora Valdez, July 13, 1936, in Lumberton, N. M. He received his education in the St. Francis Catholic School in Lumberton. He had lived in Lumberton and Colorado and Utah. He had lived at various times in Springville and went to Orem in 1948, where he resided re-sided until his death. He was employed as a sheep-herder sheep-herder and fruit farmer. Mr. Ferran was a member of ine gl. Francis (jatnonc unurcn of Provo. Survivors include his wife; five sons, Gilbert and Leo Far-ran Far-ran Provo; Elias Ferran Jr., Dallas, Tex.; Johnny and Robert Rob-ert Ferran, Orem; one daughter, daugh-ter, Mary Ann of Orem; eight grandchildren; one brother, Isaurro Ferran, Springville.
