Show Reward offered for conviction A reward will be paid to anyone any-one giving information which leads to the conviction of persons per-sons illegally killing elk or moose in Utah. The Department of Fish and Game offers $100 for elk information infor-mation and $300 for moose information. in-formation. This reward is offered of-fered to curb the unnecessary waste of the limited elk or moose in Utah. Persons seeing others illegally illegal-ly shooting at or killing elk or moose should report the inci dent to the nearest officer. Of assistance would be any identification identi-fication of the violator such as name, hunting license number or vehicle license number. Sportsmen are expected to know their game and should shoot only when sure of their target. Although more than two million mil-lion holes have been drilled in the United States in search of petroluem in the past century, no other hand dug well is known to exist. The average well is more than 4,000 feet deep, and only one out of nine drilled in unproven areas finds even a trace of oil or gas.
