Show A y Jud Hanvard, whose FFA projects and activity have won national recognition, the American Farmer Award, one of four in Utah receiving it. Springville FFA member wins national award A Springville Future Farmer, Jud Harward, has won national nation-al honors, being one of four Utah boys to receive the American Amer-ican Farmer Award, it is announced an-nounced this week. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lenard Harward. Har-ward. 664 South Second East Street. The award was announced at the 39th annual National FFA Convention at Kansas City last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Lee E. Davis have returned home from a very enjoyable trip to Los Angeles, An-geles, Calif., where they spent twelve days with their son and family, Mr .and Mrs. Ted E. Davis and five children. They also enjoyed going to the temple tem-ple and many other places of interest. Ted is employed at the American Chemical Company, Com-pany, as assistant to the senior sen-ior vice president. Tess H. Garrison of Manhat-ten Manhat-ten Beach, Calif., is the house guest this week of her uncle A. G. (Gus) Johnson in Springville. Spring-ville. Mrs. Garrison is a professional pro-fessional musician and piano instructor presently on the staff as pianist of a prominent Manhatten Beach Club Senate approves extension of food aid program. |
