Show City picks group to eye plans Mayor Calvin Packard selected selec-ted personnel to work on the Public Works and Road Committee Com-mittee at the city council meeting meet-ing held Monday night. Purpose of the committee, according to Mayor Packard, will be to study and plan a capital improvements program for the city with coordinating of the departments and plans for financing. It is felt that with the future growth of the city, careful planning for expanded ex-panded water and sewer lines and extensions plus the planning plan-ning also of power lines for new developments, should be made.
