Show Club members host daughters Cultural Arts Club members invited their daughters as guests at a program recently at the home of Cora Ellis. Gen Whiting and Rhea Twelves were assisting hostesses. Rose Marie Reid was the speaker for the evening, taking for her subject, "How to have a Boy Friend." She suggested among other things to develope a sparkling personality, become be-come interested in one's brother broth-er and his activities, ask a boy's advice and let them teach you of the things they are interested in. She advised girls to listen and ask questions, ques-tions, make a boy feel he is strong, never win over a boy, dress feminine and never be possessive. Also she said that girls should honor the priesthood priest-hood a young man holds, and encourage him to be the kind of a husband she desires. Refreshments were served by the hostesses at the close of the program to members and the following daughters of members or friends: Tamara Gibbs, Susan Parker, Joan Parker, Vonda Bird, Nan Cook, Linda Child, Gayle Whiting, Barbara Nielson, Jeannette Clyde, Jan Nielson, Linda Crandall, Terry Christensen, Val Twelves and Claudia Hold-away.
