Show Trapping season closes May . 15 1 Utah's state-wide trapping J seasons for taking beaver and 13 mink come to a close May 15, I except for Carbon, Emery, 2 Grand, Morgan, San Juan and tt Wasatch Counties, and parts U of the Weber and Provo River drainages in Summit County, where these seasons remain open through May 30. The Department of Fish and I Game reminded trappers that i required reports must be made 1 to the district conservation of-i of-i ficer where beaver pelts are i taken and a tag procured I which must be attached to the i pelt before it can be sold or ; disposed of in any manner. ? It is also noted that follow-i follow-i ing the close of the season, no ? beaver may be trapped or oth-? oth-? erwise taken, except that bea-i bea-i ver doing damage to private ? lands on or adjacent to man made waterways may be re-$ re-$ moved by the landoholders or J a deleted representative after such person has applied for j and received a special permit f to do so from the Department f of Fish and Game, f An average of 3,633 beaver j have been taken by licensed trappers . each year in Utah t during past years.
