Show Camp Kolob holds April meeting The members of Camp Kolob held their A;.'ril meeting at the home of Rhoda Huff, with Captain Mabel Brown presiding presid-ing and conducting. Captain Brown, Adele Niel-son Niel-son and Grace Richmond gave a report on the DTJP Convention Conven-tion in Salt Lake City. Laura Bennett concluded reading the history of her great great grandfather, Daniel Dan-iel Henri. After living in Bountiful Boun-tiful for some time, the Hen-rie Hen-rie family sold out and moved to Manti, where Daniel became interested in fruit raising and in the butchering business. He was an ardent civic and church worker, holding many offices in both. He helped build the Manti Temple and was one of the most generous donators. Alta Taylor presented an interesting in-teresting lesson on, "The First Icelandic Settlement in America." Amer-ica." Hostesses Rhoda Huff and Mary Christensen served light refreshments to 15 members and guests. Mrs. Maston Wentz, an officer on the county coun-ty board was a camp visitor. In hospital Mrs. Crystal Poulsen is .confined .con-fined to the Utah Valley Hospital Hos-pital for medical treatment and therapy. |
