Show : Musical treat set by MIA Tues., April 21 A musical treat is in store for music lovers who enjoy singing and those who enjoy just listening, Tuesday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium, when a chorus of 500 singers will entertain en-tertain townspeople. This will take the place of all mutuals .in Spr. Stake and must be attended at-tended by ciil members of the MIA to receive credit tor attendance at-tendance at Mutual. The Springville Stake is presenting pre-senting the music of the 1964 Music Festival which will be sung in the All-Church Music Festival in the Tabernacle, June 12 and 13, by a chorus of 2000 voices from all over the church. The high school string or-. or-. chestra, augmented by town , musicians, directed by Harmon Hatch, will accompany the Bach "Alleluja" number and Handel's "Worthy is the Lamb" with the combined MIA :horuses and ward choirs participating. par-ticipating. g The ward choir directors and Jie MIA music directors will jead the various numbers.- Dance groups ' under the di- 3-ection of the stake dance director, di-rector, Patti White and Judy Parkinson will bring real life the tantalizing melodies of 'The Music Man" which will )e sung by the MIA choruses. |
