The next day after the concert, con-cert, the chotus goes to Price to participate in the chours festival of the district and, today, the band is taking part in the district band festival at Spanish Fork. Spring, music and art are synonomous in Springville and this year will be no exception. The high school band and the girls chorus will furnish music in a concert scheduled next Wednesday, April 22, at 8:15 p.m., in the high school auditorium, directed by Blaine Watts. There will he approximately approxi-mately 40 students participating participat-ing in the band and some 35 girls in the chorus. Appearing in their new gold dresses, the chorus members will add a note of beauty to the music program. Parents of band members and friends and partons of the high school music department will especially enjoy the program pro-gram arranged for the evening, eve-ning, as it will give them an opportunity to see the progress being made by music students.
