Show Services held former resident Funeral services were held Tuesday in Salt Lake City, for Maurice C. Pexton, 67, a former form-er resident of this city, who died Saturday, April 11, 1964, of a heart ailment, enroute to a Salt Lake hispital. Burial was in Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, Ceme-tery, Salt Lake City. Mr. Pexton was born in Sa-lina, Sa-lina, Dec. 3, 1896, a son of Joseph N. and Cora Cole Pexton. Pex-ton. He spent his early life in Springville, attending schools here, when his father operated a confectionary. He married Erma Monroe, June 14, 1920, at Bountiful. He was a retired railway express foreman, a past president of the Early Birds Bowling League, treasurer of the International Inter-national Association of Machinists. Ma-chinists. He was a member of First Congregational Church. Surviving, besides his wife, is a son and a daughter, Boyd M., Salt Lake City; Mrs. A. W. (Dona) Weber, Garden Grove, Calif.; a brother, William Wil-liam Pexton, Salt Lake City. ..Convalescing Theron S. Hall returned home Sunday from Utah Valley Val-ley Hospital, and is convalescing convales-cing from a major operation. |
