Show Kin of local people dies Funeral services were held Tuesday, in Payson, for Herman Her-man A. Twede, 90, father of Mrs. Ray (Arlene) Lofgran of this city and a brother of Mrs. Viola Allan, also of Springville. Spring-ville. He died Saturday, Dec. 28, 1963, at Tooele Valley Hospital. Hos-pital. He had resided at a Tooele rest home for several months and for some time previously pre-viously was at the Stowell Rest Home in Springville. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Twede was a native of Provo. He made his home in . Mapleton for about ten years after his marriage later moving mov-ing to Payson and vicinity, where he followed farming. He retired a number of years ago. He was prominent in civic affairs and LDS Church work 1 and served for a number of ; years as bishop of the Spring ; Lake Ward. He is s;irvivied by 11 sons . and daughters; 36 grandchild-' grandchild-' ren; 71 great grandchildren , and one great great grandchild . in addition to his sister. |
