Show Senior Citizens expected home today from tour Nearly eighty Senior Citizens Citi-zens left Sunday aboard two buses for a five-day trip to Southern California, and the New Year Rose Parade. First day's activities included includ-ed a picnic at St. George en-route en-route to the Algiers Hotel in Las Vegas. From there they were to travel to San Diego, visiting the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park. Their second night was to be spent at an ocean-side lodge, and on the following day they planned to make a .chartered harbor tour of the Navy base at San Diego. Di-ego. Continuing their tour, they will visit Disneyland, and will continue on to the Knickerbocker Knicker-bocker Hotel in Hollywood, where they will have a New Year's party. The next day they will see the Tournament of Roses Parade at Pasadena, before heading home by way of Las Vegas. They expect to reach Springville Thursday evening. A. I. Tippetts reported this is the fifth long tour the Senior Sen-ior Citizens of this area have taken. Others have included trips to the canyonlands in southern Utah and Arizona, Black Hills of South Dakota, Flaming Gorge Dam, and Wyoming. |
