Show and apply to this project, and are the minimum wages to be paid on this project. The Cedar City Corporation, in accordance ac-cordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Department of Interior Regulation (A3 CFR 17), hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contract enterd into pursuant to this advertisement ad-vertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, without discrimination of the grounds of race, color or national origin. Proposal forms, plans and specifications are on file in the office of the City Engineer at 40 North 100 East, and the City Offices at 110 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah, where they may be reviewed by prospective bidders. Specifications, proposal . forms, and plans may be obtained only at the above offices upon payment of a fee of $10, a portion of which will be refunded on return of same, ($5). Each bidder must submit a bid bond from an approved surety company; or in lieu therof, cash, certified check, or cashier's check for riot less than 5 percent of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Cedar City Corporation as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract bonds as required. NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be recieved by the Cedar City Corporation, 110 North Main Stret, Cedar City, Utah, July 22, 1982, until 5:00 p.m., and publicly opened in the City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m., on the same date, for the construction of a new pedestrian foot bridge across Coal Creek at approximately 450 East Center Street. Work will consist of furnishing all necessary material and labor as required to complete construction of said Bridge. Pedestrian Bridge will be a 8 foot wide x 75 foot free spaning prestressed' concrete structure abotments and all necessary miscellaneous items as shown on the plans. Furnishing the materials and installation in-stallation shall be on one bid schedule. Installation is to be completed in ninety (90) calendar days. In conformity with, and by authority of Title 34, Chapter 30, Utah Code Annotated 1953, the general prevailing rates are determined by the Industrial Commission of Utah, shall be effective |
