Show Soccer in store MURRAY It could be a foot in the door. An organized soccer program at Murray High School may finally get a chance next year, depending on an upcoming up-coming decision by the Murray Board of Education. Superintendent Glen C. Oldroyd will recommend to the board that a soccer program be adopted as part of the athletic program and the school. Soccer was recently adopted by the Utah High Schools Activities Association as part of its competitive program, Oldroyd said. Soccer enthusiasts in the district have repeatedly complained com-plained that the sport has lacked district support, despite interest by students and parents. |
