NewJB s opens up, gives $500 to chorale CEDAR CITY - In conjunction with opening ceremonies at the all-new Big Boy Family Restaurant on Main Street here, JB's Restaurants donated $500 to the Cedar City-based Southern Utah Chorale. Presentation of the gift was the highlight of ceremonies opening the restaurant. During his address, JB's Restaurants president Clark D. Jones presented a $500 check to Mayor Robert Linford in behalf of the chorale. Jones added that he has always had a soft place in his heart lor music. Jones also presented Linford a plaque of the JB's motto, "success follow s when people come first." Linford graciously accepted the awards and welcomed the new restaurant to Cedar City. "We feel a true responsibility to take an active part in the communities com-munities in which we do business," said Jones. The new restaurant is finished in natural cedar and decorated in cool greens and browns. "This new restaurant is a marked contrast to the former building and reflects- our commitment to the future of Cedar City." said Jones. In order for JB's to continue to meet the needs ot the ever- i n c r easing sophist icat ion of its customers. Jones said, "we frequently find it necessary to make radical changes from the old to the new. Eventually Even-tually all JB's in Utah will he remodeled or replaced with new units. We feel real good about this type of direction." So far, reported jones, 15 out of (i7 restaurants have been remodeled or replaced. |
