Show Kanarraville By CARMA WILLIAMS Record Correspondent Tammi and Todd Isom from Cedar City spent the weekend here with their grandmother, Vaughn Isom. The Ward held a farewell party Saturday at the Ward cultural hall for B.N. and LaDaun Williams and family who are moving to Las Vegas. The party was pot luck. Everyone was invited and enjoyed the evening of supper, a program and visiting. Raona and Grover Lewis from Los Angeles, Calif., spent a week here with their mother and family, Nedra Ence. Wayne and Darlene Olds from Hurricane, Ut., and Gerald Pingel from Las Vegas, spent the afternoon visiting Alenna Berry Scott and Aloma. Debbert Reeves, son of Shirlae and Clayton Reeves, and Bryce Gubler, son of Tony and Judy Gubler, were among the 1981 graduating class from Cedar City High School. Kelsey and Utahna Taylor from Las Vegas spent the day here with their sister-in-law, Berta Williams. Richard and Marilyn Dotson and six children from Cedar City, visited briefly with Elmer and Bessie Davies and Sylva Williams. Walt and Jewell Baumberger from Amarillo, Tex., spent a few days here with their brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Marilyn Baumberger. Ronald and Joan Williams attended an open house in Cedar City for V.R. Magleby who is retiring from SUSC. Mrs. Doris Williams spent two days in Boulder City, Nev., with her daughter and son-in-law, Jodie and Brett Baldwin and family. Mr. and Mrs. Alif Davis and Oleen Davis from Grand Junction, Colo., spent Saturday visiting Mrs. Berta Williams. Jim and Thelma Lovell spent Sunday afternoon in Enterprise with their brother, Dr. Wilford Berry, who was at his ranch but lives in LaHabra, Calif. Miss Iona Roundy from Salt Lake City spent the Memorial weekend here with her sister, Nedra Ence and family. They all attended a Williams reunion in St. George. Miss C h a r 1 i n d a Munford from Sunnyside, Ut., spent the weekend here with her mother, Donna Munford. Charlinda is teaching high school at East Carbon High. |
