Show Six-trout. limit set for opener A six-trout limit will be in effect for the opening weekend of the general fishing season, May 30-31, for all areas of the state. The purpose of . the six-trout six-trout limit on the opening weekend is to reduce the large take of fish the first two days, so the quality of fishing will be kept at a high level during the following weeks. In all streams and rivers of the state, a daily bag or possession limit must hot include two trout or salmon over 13 inches. The size limit is an effort to increase the number of large fish in rivers and streams. |
