White; Mr. and Mrs. George Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. s ; Bob Worsley and two sons and daughter of Salt Lake, surprised sur-prised Mr. and Mrs. Harvey White by dropping in last Saturday Sat-urday evening. The next day the group motored to Bryce Canyon to spend -the day, and : stopped at Panguitch Hospital! to visit Mrs. White's brother, J LaMar. Upon returning to Beaver a hot chicken supper was served to the visitors. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Puffer of Dugway, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Clark Puffer and two children of Murray, visited in r Beaver last week with Mrs. E. O. Puffer and other relatives and friends. e Mr. and Mrs. Allen Farns-worth Farns-worth have moved to St. Louis, Mo., where Allen will continue his dental studies at Washington Washing-ton University. & Mrs. Dwight Carter and daughters of Milford spent last Friday in Beaver with the George C. Murdocks. o Mr. and Mrs. Claude Goodwin returned heme Monday from Salt Lake, where Claud re-ceived re-ceived medical reatment. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Mc-Cann Mc-Cann of Kaweah spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. LaVel Bradshaw and family. 9 Mrs. Martha Barton and grandson Scotty left Thursday for Salt Lake to be present at a family reunion. e Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Burt have ! been on an extended vacation trip for the past three weeks, visiting relatives and friends in Idaho, Woming, Montana, Ore-Idaho, Ore-Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Oregon Or-egon and Washington. G Mrs. EveJyn Crandall of.Long Beach, Calif., has been visiting I her sister, Mrs. Jean Cart-wright, Cart-wright, the past week. Nina Hall and Delia Soule of Silt Lake, sisters of Mrs. Bill Cartwright, were recent Beaver visitors. & Johnny and Susan Cartwright, son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Carwright, have been visiting relatives in Salt Lake. Visiting in Beaver on their way to Los Angeles to get Anne Cartwright, who has been visiting visit-ing in Panama with Helen and a Bob Gillies, were Susan Bullock, Bul-lock, Don and Betty Bonn of Provo. While in Los Angeles threv visited a sister, Letha Kipps. - I 3 Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dean and family of Provo were recent visitors at the homes of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dean of Beaver and Mr. and Mrs. Williams of Greenville. They also spent a week in Ruth, Nev., visiing Mrs. Dean's sisters. sis-ters. o Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Blake of St. George spent a few days visiting Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dean before Mrs. Blake left for the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., where she received medical med-ical care. They returned West by way of Yellowstone Park. O Mrs. Arshel Hollinshead, son and daughter Dale and Jill, re-j re-j turned home after spending a l week in Olympia, Wash., visit- ing a son in law and daughter, ' Mr. and Mrs: Donny Dean. ' o Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Hickman Hick-man of Springville spent last week end in the Beaver Mountains, Moun-tains, deer hunting and visiting Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Hickman. Miss Carol Hood has returned lVlr. anu ivilb. uu;nn oliiucj and children of Salt Lake spent the last two weeks in Beaver with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Carnel Smith of Provo also visited vis-ited the Edwin Smiths over the week end. e Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Man-zione Man-zione spent the Labor Day week end in Beaver with his parents, 1 Ir. and Mrs. Dick Manzione, before leaving for Washington, D. C, ' where Mr. Manzione will continue his schooling. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Lewis and grandson John of Compton, Calif., have been guests of their brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Thomas, and Mrs LaGrande Gale and family 'for the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Don Oakden and family of Salt Lake spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Oakden. ' o Mr. and Mrs. Fisher and two children of Salt Lake were Labor Day week end guests of ...J0t hieir friends, Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam O. Het'fner. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lessing and family spent last week in Los Angeies with relatives and friends. They enjoyed side trips to Disney Land and Hoover Hoov-er Dam. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Yard-ley Yard-ley and daughters spent last Monday and Tuesday at Grand Canyon with their daughter, Jole'ne, who has been working there this summer, o Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jones and daughter Julie were visitors at the home of their mother, Mrs. Grace Jones, several days last 1 week. Mr. and Mrs. Collin Smith of Indianaohs, Ind., were visitors of the Walter Josephs. Mr. Collins Col-lins left for Fort Ord, Calif., where he has been transferred, and Mrs. Smith (Karma) will stay mith her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Don Riseley of San Diego. Calif., accompanied by Wendell Murdock, were recent re-cent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Murdock. While here They enjoyed a fishing and sightseeing trip in the Beaver Mountains. |
