Show Beaver County Exhibitors Place in Cedar Stock Show BY GRANT ESPLIN Beaver County Agent Beaver County exhibitors at the Southern Utah Stock Show in Cedar Cits' placed quite well this year, with three exhibitors having steers graded "prime." It was a dfficult thing to get into the Prime class this year, and onls- 12 steers in the entire en-tire show were sold at prime. Wayne Smith and David Yardley of Beaver and Scott Pearson of Minersville had prime steers. The following had Choice steers'. Calvid Yardley (2), Floyd Yardles-, Patrick Yardley (2), Calvin Eyre (2), Mary Yardley. Nancy Yardley Smith and Wayne Smith had steers that graded Good. In the sheep division, Julie Ann Farrer, Sue Farrer and Orson Or-son Blackner had Choice lambs; Julie Ann Farrer, Orson Blackner, Black-ner, Fred Erickson and Boyd Yardley had "Good" lambs. In the Breeding Hampshire sheep department, Mack Low had one Grade A yearling ewe and Carol v-n Esplin received blue ribbons on her yearling ewe and ewe lamb. In the Livestock Judging contest con-test Floyd Yardley, Calvin Yardley and Wayne Smith tied for second place. |
