Show MILFORD Personal Mention Mrs. Aleen Butler and family, Mrs. Viola Clemens and family, fam-ily, and Mr. and Mrs. James Sly and family, all of Springville, were at the home of their stepfather step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Bradsriaw, last week. Mrs. LaVern Patterson underwent under-went major surgery Sept. 3 at the Beaver Countv Hospital. She is reported recuperating satisfactorily. Bill Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Thompson of New-Boston, New-Boston, Ohio, former South Mil-ford Mil-ford residents mere here six days last week, visiting relatives rel-atives and friends. Bill graduated gradu-ated from the New Boston High School last spring and will enter en-ter Ohio State University this fall on an athletic scholarship. He was an outstanding football player while attending high school. Mrs. Wilma Weston and son Brad will be in Salt Lake this week end attending to business. Mrs. Pauline Rummler is the office secretary at Milford High School this year. o Mrs. J. C. Smith and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Hal Norton, have been in Blackfoot, Idaho, visiting Mr. and Mrs. Noel Benson and to be present for the arrival of a new son, Born Aug. 25 to Mr. and Mrs. Benson. Mrs. Norton returned home last week and Mrs. Smith will return Friday. Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Tribole were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Price and their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Price, all of Ohio. The group also visited Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tribole in Bountiful. Mrs. Eva Beard left Friday for an extended visit with her son Harold in Rupert, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. C: L. Skinner of Monrovia, Calif., were overnight over-night guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Tribole. The Skinners are former Beaver residents A week's trip was enjoyed by Mrs. Cecil Killam and children, Kristen, Douglas and Kathy, in Twin Falls, Idaho, with Mrs. Kill?.m's sister, Mrs. Ja.son Ash-worth. Ash-worth. While there Douglas and Kalhv appeared on "The Merry Milkman" TV show, each singing a song. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tribole of Bountiful were week end visitors vis-itors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Tribole. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Magill were a son in law and daughter, daugh-ter, Lt. Col. and Mrs. E. R. Beucus and family of Hill Field, and Mr. and Mrs. John Lohrenz and children of Santa Ana, Calif., and Mrs. Harriet McCorkle of Otterbein, Calif. Mr. and Mrs,. Otto Schwab of Beaver were guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Morris Friday. ' I Bert O'Leary, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred O'Leary, sailed from Los Angeles Thursday, Sept. 12. to serve a mission assignment in the Samoan Islands. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cottrell of Provo were in Milford this week, guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elmer, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Tribole, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cook. Mr. Cottrell returned to Provo and Mrs. Cottrell Cot-trell will return this week end. She remained to be wth a nephew, neph-ew, Douglas Cook, who has been ill. Grant and Nancy Bartlett of Salt Lake were Milford visitors last week end. Mr. Bartlett returned re-turned to his home Sunday and Nancy remained for a longer visit with her mother, Mrs. Hazel Hillman. Mrs. Garnetta Hollis is in Los Angeles visiting her children. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Anderson returned Friday from a two-month two-month vacation- trip to the New England and Northern States, and Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Anderson, Ander-son, newlyweds, were in iVliliord 'for a visit with Mr. Anderson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Anderson. An-derson. Harlan has been employed em-ployed in Northboro, Mass., this .summer. They will leave this month for Berkeley, Caif., and Mr. Anderson will enroll at the University of California. DeWane Stahl, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stahl of Cambridge, Cam-bridge, Idaho, is employed in South Milford. Sunday he was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Bradshaw. Mr. and Mrs. Buss Laub of Riverside, Calif., have been visitors vis-itors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jones. They met while Mr. and Mrs. Jones were serving an L D S mission in California. George Allen Mcintosh, son of Mrs. Irene Mcintosh, who has been stationed in Alaska with the U S Army, is expected to receive his discharge this month at Ft. Lewis, Wash. After being released from military service Mr. Mcintosh will return to Milford. |
