Show THIS WEEK IN MINERSVILLE By MARYBELLE EYRE A lovely ham supper was enjoyed en-joyed at Cherry Creek Tuesday evening by Mr. and Mrs. Daisel Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Newell Carter, and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn. e Joseph Eyre left Saturday for Springville to visit his daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Dotson, and his granddaughter Mildred Bohn, who recently returned from a mission. a Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Evans of St. George have been here seeking seek-ing dental attention for their daughter Colleen. Mrs. Arshal Evans, who had been visiting in St. George, returned with them. e Mr. and Mrs. Billie Gibson and three children arrived Friday Fri-day to spend the week end with his grandmother, Mrs. Nellie Eyre, and other relatives. They left Monday to return to their home in Riverside, Calif. a Mrs. Sheldon Albrecht and family of Norsvalk, Calif., visited visit-ed on Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Milton Albrecht. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Armstrong were Sunday visitors at the homo of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Murdock. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Marshall were hosts Sunday evening at a lovely ham dinner in honor of a former classmate, Billy Gibson. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Alton Al-ton Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Vance Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Gar-old Gar-old Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Billie Gibson, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre. 9 Mrs. Newell Marshall and Nancy, Mrs. Ralph Pearson, and Mrs. Dan Davis all spent the day in Milford Sunday with Mrs. Jack Ogden. 9 A family outing' and dinner was enjoyed in the Beaver Canyon Can-yon Sunday afternoon by Mrs. Nellie Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Ru-lon Ru-lon Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wunderlich and family, Mr. and Mrs. Garold Eyre and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre and family, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Gibson and 'family, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Eyre. 9 Calvin Eyre and Scott Pearson Pear-son entered steers in the Southern South-ern Utah Livestock Show at Cedar City. e Mrs. Cas'sie McKnight visited over the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins of South Milford. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Dan Bnnker-hoff Bnnker-hoff and family of Fillmore .arrived .ar-rived Sunday to visit her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Goldie Marshall. Mar-shall. j . 9 Mrs. Etta Rollins and grandson, grand-son, Golden Adams, went to Salt Lake Monday where Golden Gol-den entered the mission home. He will leave Wednesday for the Northern States Mission. Alice Adams went to Salt Lake Tuesday to see her brother before be-fore he left. Mrs. Alvaretta Robinson, Mrs Virgene Jameson, Mrs. Bessie Pearson, Mrs,. Edith Brad-field Brad-field and Mrs. Rose Banks all attended the D U P Convention in St. George. Wilford Robinson Robin-son drove the ladies down and spent the day working in the Temple. , 9 Mr and Mrs. Ward Marquard-son Marquard-son have been here visiting his mother, Mrs. Jennie Marquard- Mr and Mrs. Harold Baker were hosts at a lovely dinner served outside Wednesday evening. eve-ning. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jameson, Mr -and Mrs Delbert Jameson and Allen, and Bernard Jameson. 9 Maurice: Baker of Salt J-Ke visited his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baker, on Thursday. . 9 The Canasta Club held their regular meeting at the home of Mrs Noel Wood on Monday evening. . Guests were Mrs. Bonnie Gray, Mrs. Ilene Craw, Mrs Florence Wood, Mrs. Donna Don-na 'Carter, Mrs. Yvonne Murdock Mur-dock and Mrs. Leola Gillins. Prizes were won by Mrs. Bonnie Bon-nie Gray and Mrs. Florence Wood. Light refreshments were served. Mrs. James Glenn and family of Kearns visited a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Noel "Wood. . , Mr. and Mrs. Sherwin Wood and Mr. and Mrs, Jule Gillins enjoyed the Iron County Fair exhibits in Parowan on Sunday. 9 Mrs Ray Gillins returned last week 'from Washington, svhere she spent two weeks with her husband, Ray Gillins, who is stationed at an Army Base in Washington. 9 A shower was held in Milford Mil-ford Wednesday evening honoring honor-ing Eddie and Wilma Aagard Myers, who were married recently. re-cently. ffl Mrs. Vera Hunter and two children visited Mr. and Mrs. Lee Marshall a few days during the week. a Mr. and Mrs. Karen Carter were hosts at a party Sunday night.
