Show An Enthusiastic Prospector. Mr. John T. Ferris, who claims to have first discovered silver at Silver Reef in 1874, is back in his old haunts, and gave this office a pleasant call on Thursday. Mr. Ferris is enthusiastic over some claims he has just secured, situated on the Duftin reef about two miles southeast of Leeds, and which he has been trying to get for twenty-two years. He and Andrew F. Gregorson of Leeds, who is backing him, recorded j live claims Tuesday, to be known as the I Stevenite and the New Era near Leeds: ! and the Dewey, Little Giant, and Belle-! Belle-! vue in fhe Believue hills. The two for-i for-i met- are rich in silver in veins running ! from six inches to two feet.
