They are well and getting- along nicely. Elders George Jarvis and Oscar Bentley of St. George and William Abbott of Bunkerville, home missionaries, mission-aries, held forth at St. Joseph on the 9th, and here on the 10th. They gave some very fine instructions and left for St. Thomas today. Bro. Jarvis was quite unwell with a very bad cold. Muddy, Overton, Nevada, January 11, 1S99. " w OVEItTOX, NEVADA. The first rain for over a year fell last night. Some of our people are putting in grain and preparing for gardening. Bishop Jones has completed the tithing tith-ing granary and is receiving the people's peo-ple's tithing. We had a very merry Christmas, and a happy Xew Year's, with several nice dances and picnic. M.
