Show SPUIXGDALE. Bishop Gifford has two little girls down with pneumonia, one of them is slowly on the improve. ' The general health of the people is on the improve; nearly all are able to get about now, but very few feel fit to work hard. Last Sunday Richard Parker and Ira Bradshaw filled their appointment as home missionaries here. Bro. Parker hit us hard on the question of meeting house, and we deserve it. On the evening of the 24th inst., while one of our Bishop's boys was riding a fractious horse the animal ran away, and threw the boy among a pile of rocks. Fortunately he was not seriously seri-ously injured. John Winder has sold out here, and will move to Oak creek in the spring to the place he purchased from John Hep-worth last fall. Sister Lemmon, of Worthup, bought the Winder place and will change her residence in Xh'-t, spring. |
