Show Cottage Meeting Held At Pendleton Home Monday George F. Whitehead, former president of the St. George Temple, and R. W. Seaman, president presi-dent of the St. George stake Quorum of Seventy were the speakers at a cottage meeting held Monday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony W. Pendleton. In charge of the meeting were John M. Stucki and Lorenzo Leavitt, both of Santa Clara, who are appointed as missionaries mis-sionaries to the West ward. Mr. Whitehead gave an interesting interest-ing talk on gospel principles and on the need of closer observance of the principles of human brotherhood broth-erhood and friendliness, especially in these times of world disruption and trouble. Mr. Seaman devoted his remarks to the fulfilment of of predictions with respect to obedience to the principles of the gospel and to the call of those i in authority. Both men told of their previous missionary labors : and of the satisfaction they had ' thus received and urged parents . to prepare the mind of their i children for the fulfilment of mis-i mis-i sions. |
