Show H. C. Thomas Attends His Father's Funeral In Spanish Fork H. C. Thomas returned on Jan. 1st from Spanish Fork, where he had been to attend the funeral services of his father, Morgan M. Thomas, who died at his home there Monday, of ailments due to old age. He had observed his 89th birthday anniversary Dec. 21. A native of Wales, where he was born, Dec. 21, 1852, he came to America with his parents as L. D. S. converts when he was a small boy. They settled in northern north-ern Utah and he followed mining for many years, before moving to Spanish Fork. While at the mining min-ing town known as Winter Quarters, he married Ella Clark. After coming to Spanish Fork, Mr. Thomas became public school janitor and followed this employment employ-ment professionally as long as he was able to work. Surviving besides Mrs. Thomas, are the following children; Richard Rich-ard Thomas and Mrs. Peter Clifford, Clif-ford, Salt Lake City; Mrs. A. D. Henrichsen, Las Vegas, Morgan Thomas of Waycross, George, II. C. Thomas of this city, one sister, sis-ter, Mrs. 'Cclia Thomas of Wales, j Utah, and 10 grandchildren. Mrs. I Henrichsen joined Mr. Thomas to attend the services of their father. |
