Show Storms Close Highway 91 Between Nephi And Beaver Last Night The storms which have swept most of the nation during the past two weeks have created conditions con-ditions throughout the northern part of the state which have made it advisable for people to not drive their cars. This stormy period was culminated last night or early this morning with the closing of Highway 91 between Nephi and Beaver with the result re-sult that cars are being re-routed over 89 from Nephi to St. George. Officials at the Santa Clara checking station report that the last car to come through from the north over Highway 91 arrived ar-rived here at 2:40 this morning, indicating that the road must have become closed at around midnight. Radio reports state that the road is closed and that cars are being routed over 89. U. P. and Burlington buses have not come through this morn-ng morn-ng and as we go to press the travel is still held up. The weather report, as sub-, -nitted by Arthur Fawcett, of- j "icial observer, indicates that the last week has been one of the: oldest in Dixie history.
